Old and In the Way?

Moses was 120 years old when he began his quest to free the Israelites! And he did it! Maybe Zeke really shouldn't make it past 75. I saw his bio on Wikipedia and nearly swallowed my tongue. This is a despicable human.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Sowell. Each new article is my present. Thank you.

Thanks to you, FairPlay, and my sincerest thanks to Dr. Sowell. People inside the gate are so easily led by symbolism and 'trending' that they have forgotten who they are and how to THINK for themselves. We are in deep trouble. Again, thank you.

How Foreign is Our Policy?

Remember those Burma Shave signs along Route 66? Can you, Dr. Sowell, shorten this post and "sign" our United States along every major Interstate? I shall help pay for it! I have been using this very message as comments wherever I leave a footprint. Yes, his failure is his success. May G-d help us.

Cruz Control?

In one of Dr. Sowell's recent posts, he suggested we read The Gathering Storm by Winston Churchill. I am. On p. 17 is the crux of what he speaks: " ... how the malice of the wicked was reinforced by the weakness of the virtuous ..." Ted Cruz is speaking up and we need to hear what he says, and then examine how it matches with what we truly need. Our opinions might change if Chris Christie becomes Hillary's Vice President. Just saying.

Since 2008 the United States has aborted over four million babies, with the support of the present administration. No one came to their aid, and when offered a chance, then Senator Obama voted against the Infant Protection Plan, twice. Well someone used chemical weapons against parts of a whole population in the most unsettled part of the planet, and suddenly our president has to lob a couple of missiles over Syria's bow, to show the world the United States's president is really concerned. When Agent Orange was used in Vietnam and our troops returned home with cancer and died, no one cared. This administration still doesn't care! But have someone else use these weapons elsewhere and our president is Obama-on-the-spot. He couldn't even tell the truth when Benghazi was attacked and our men died - HIS employees! There is something wrong when our leader, supposedly the leader of the free world, is willing to expend our non-existent dollars and materiel on an event that will not change one thing, but cannot clean his own house and put it in order, and demand compassion and honesty at home. I am sorry that the chemicals were used. I am sorry all those children died, but having Obama intervene is about the worst decision this country could make. He has no idea of what will follow. Never mind all the admonishments from all corners of the world, what about all the unforeseen occurrences, the small details, of what will happen in the Middle East, or here at home, the new playground for home-grown terrorists. May I suggest a round of golf, maybe it would help him to clear is head and rethink the matter. He's going to have to face the fact that Putin did him this year, and conducting a personal vendetta might be very, very expensive.
