So many think vouchers are the answers to education. Vouchers work where they are used because those PARENTS CARE and are involved in their kids' education. That is also why private schools work and charter schools work and public schools work. When PARENTS CARE and are involved, kids learn. Until society values hard work and a good education and realize that the students and parents have to do their part, education will continue to decline. Blaming schools and teachers lets parents and kids off the hook. Where is their accountability?

We keep undocumented, uneducated, unskilled democrats, but deport conservative, educated, Christians. The one campaign promise Obama is keeping is to transform America.

Where are the mental health bills? These stupid legislators are all going after guns, but it was crazy people that did the damage. Not one of these gun bills will change if a crazy person gets the help they need before they kill people. Not one of the gun bills will stop bad people get guns. If gun control prevented crime, explain Chicago. Aurora, Fort Hood, Virginia Tech, and Sandy Hook are all dreadful situations because they had mentally ill people. Those folks need help. Gun laws aren't going to change that. This whole debate is about the wrong thing. Wake-up legislators!

The government should make the risk known, but people need to be responsible for the risks they take. All the excuses for people to be responsible have to stop. We have to stop bailing out stupid. Otherwise, when will it all stop? I am sick of the nanny state. Personal responsibility has to return!

I am just sick of providing for other people to do things that are just wrong! If they do it, so be it, but I don't want to pay for it. If someone wants to smoke marijuana, they pay for it now and when they have lung problems. If someone wants to have sex they pay for their birth control. If someone has sex without birth control they pay for their own abortion and mental issues afterward. If someone wants to be fat and obese, they pay for the consequences. If someone is a bad driver, they pay more. So it should be if they engage in negative behavior. Inform them of consequences and then let them deal with the choices they make. If someone lives by the ocean and a hurricane or flood hits, they pay for it because they made that choice

Thank you for standing for something important. Too many are afraid to do so. It sure would be nice if Marriage were a religious covenant and all other civil union contracts. If a couple believes in God and therefore wants Him as part of their relationship, they get married. Otherwise engage in a civil union contract. Then the civil contracts can specify death wishes and property decisions and all the other "rights" that seem to be desired. Sadly too many don't want to follow the teachings of God in the Bible, just pick and choose what fits them instead of becoming what God wants them to be. Thank you for believing God.
