We are working on our infrastructure all the time. You can barely drive without coming up to a construction project. We could do more if we stopped wasting billions on bike and jogging paths and other assorted wastes of money. Educating our children? Really? We have schools, no? What world do you live in. Researching new technologies isn't happening? You have to stop reading Democrat faxes. They are like reading the New York Times-complete works of fiction. As far as the so-called rich paying their fair share, exactly what is fair, in your simplistic mind? And who is to decide what's fair? You? The rich already pay for most of your infrastructure, education and the like through their taxes. Without the rich this country goes down the tubes.

Bicycle and jogging paths, along with mass transit are critical to the infrastructure - or at least will be critical when the liberals make energy so expensive no one can afford to drive, and no industries exist to provide jobs.

And public education from kindergarten through the universities is little more than liberal political indoctrination by unionized teachers who care only about their own interests, not their kids (reference Albert Shanker's speeches). The public schools don't turn out kids with enough math and science background to succeed in the economy of the future - then the colleges overlay this incompetence with political indoctrination.

The time has come to draw the purse strings shut on these functions that waste so much.

Following Hurricane Sandy’s massive devastation across the northeast, many were quick to tie it to “climate change” (you know, what “global warming” and the “new ice age” used to be.). In a blog post on Tuesday, former Vice President Al Gore wrote “Hurricane Sandy is a disturbing sign of things to come. We must heed this warning and act quickly to solve the climate crisis. Dirty energy makes dirty weather.”

Meghan McCain sarcastically weighed in on Twitter, “So are we still going to go with climate change not being real fellow republicans?”

As his city struggles in the Sandy...
