Another Trip Into the Recesses of the Liberal Mind

Ms. Brooks should take in course in human behavior. Successful people are not just going to sit around and take this nonsense. Successful people are problem solvers. They'll figure this one out in short order. If nothing else, we can go all Atlas Shrugged on them and just shut down the Left's gravy train. After all, they never use their own money.

"Starving The Leviathan" works. But making less money isn't an option for a lot of high-income earners. They are beholden to their obligations and must keep raking it in to pay the bills.

That is why Starving The Leviathan is a libertarian or perhaps anarchic notion; not likely to become mainstream.

And, of course, once the private sector shuts down like that, Dear Leader will conclude that it means the government should take over this-or-that industry.

Sit down. I’m truly sorry about this, but we really need to take another trip into the dark recesses of the liberal mind. A dangerous journey to a world where it is greedy to want to keep your own money, but not to covet the money or property of others; a world where earning 17% of the income, but paying 38% of the income taxes means you’re not paying your fair share; a world where any expression of disagreement with any utterance, no matter how ignorant, from the mouth of someone-not-white makes you a racist.

We have to do this...
