Could Congress impose Shariah law and simply add line items to a tax form for non-compliance?
We just need to repeal the 16th amendment. The US did just fine for over a hundred years without an income tax.
Question for John Roberts: You voted in the majority for DC v. Heller. What if the D.C. law didn't prohibit firearm ownership, but instead levied a $50,000 tax per firearm?
Firearm ownership is legal. In a related note, new tax form 1040G stipulates a "penalty" of $10,000 per gun.

Check out university-style schooling, which blends private schooling and home schooling. Students go to class 2-3 days a week, and teachers provide guidelines for home learning on the other days.

We cannot fathom the innovation that would explode if public schooling were to end. Just look the smartphone hardware (not service) market. There is no regulation. So there is tight competition. There are many handsets to choose from, varying in price from $0 to $300. A better iPhone comes out every year, at the same price as the last model with tons of new features.
