Very coherent for an OWS participant. Unfortunately reveals the core selfishness of the movement. Her mother knows this, and the 99% I know is busy doing this, not living in a tent city. She gets a good vacation out of this without worrying about raising kids. Her abdication of raising her kids is an example of the vicious narcissism at the core of this pitiful camp-out.
Good piece on this so-called 'protest.' Capitalism is often cited as one of their beefs, if the respondent is blessed with more than average OWS coherence. They obviously love money and stuff, look at their behavior. So why is capitalism bad? I believe that OWS-types hate the service to others that is required in order to make your way in a capitalist economy. I must do something for you that you value so that you might choose to pay me for it. The rejection of this construct cuts to the root of what these folks are: Narcissists. They want, based on their own existence, free everything, a 'right' to everything, and, importantly, a stage on which to be praised. The 99% I know take showers before work.

Would encourage a followup piece on who exactly is enriched by this situation, and what they do to perpetuate it.

Accurate descriptions of inner-city black culture that do not have to pass through the filters of the LSM editorial policies will note the facts. These conditions are killing blacks daily and have become a vicious cycle. It is a pathology. It is anti-education, anti-women, and anti-civilization as practiced in the rest of America. Plain words are needed for this enormous problem.

Drove my kids through the 'foster parent' neighborhood every once in a while... Effective.

Excellent summary. Long term, only a return to the two parent family will yield meaningful progress. Surprisingly, it turns out that a father in the house, raising the kids with mom, is good thing. Who knew?

Gov. Mitch Daniels is OK in Indiana. Rep. Mike Pence (IN) is very good at telling the narrative. The Conservative story is a good one. It just needs to be told. R's cannot be lazy about this. Candidates need to have stories to tell to illustrate our narrative.

'Terminate all Czars, and permanently eliminate this job title.' Maybe we could just eliminate the jobs entirely but just send the czars to Gitmo. ;-)

Agreed. I believe a major shift is occurring. The earmarking, log-rolling fat-cat committee chairs are waking up to the laser-sight (metaphorical only!) on their foreheads for 'bringing home the bacon' to their districts. R's used to get by as half-a-loaf libs. No more. The bright light is on and spending has become the enemy.
