THE SKY IS FALLING! I am old enough to remember predictions in the 60s that we would be overpopulated by the 80s, and mass death and starvation would occur if we got to over 4 billion. We are ar 6.7 bnnow, no mass starvation. And war has existed since the very beginnings of recorded history, it is not a new population controlling phenom. Stavation is caused by policy, (reference Russia post revolution, Cambodia from the Khmer Rouge). If people are left alone by the evil ruling class, they seem to manage just fine.
