I always wondered why school buses don't have seat belts for the children riding them. The driver has a seat belt but none of the kids do. What is the reason behind this? Liberals must have an answer for this one. If I have to have everyone buckled up in my car as a law. What makes school buses any differant? My child may have more of a chance being hurt in a school bus crash than getting shot at in school.

It may well have been tried, and, kids being kids, the end result may have been a mess. Who will be sure they keep the seat belts locked? Who will be sure everyone is properly buckled in? What about a fire on the bus? I, actually, had wondered, when my kids rode the school bus, the same as you have, and do not have a real answer.

Vice President Biden unfurled his genius during a Google+ “fireside” hangout last month stating that having “armed guards in schools would be a terrible mistake.”

Really, José? Why don’t you rock up to Price Middle School in Atlanta on Monday morning and bray that insanity to the teachers and students who were spared an early grave because an armed guard took out the latest Lanza wannabe before he could waylay his peers?

Oh, I’m sorry. Y’all haven’t heard about the armed guard taking down a shooter who passed his gun through the metal detectors at an Atlanta...
