By their actions, the left is very racist and thinks that blacks, latinos , orientals, and jews are substandard humans. That Obama is also from that "set", the left makes excuses and blandly ignores his mistakes....after all, he can't help it since he comes from those considered less than what can be expected a white elite could do or perform..

I find it amazing that a black would advocate gun control legislation that would impact the black community much more negatively than any other segment of our society. Where and on whom is the most crime in America committed? Is this guy a closet KKK member??

Regarding black reality, blacks are the least armed, least protected and defended, and the most assaulted citizens in our country. According to a recent Pew Research Center survey, 42 percent of whites and 16 percent of blacks say that they have a pistol or rifle at home. Ms. Star nailed it again.....I would think that black folks, being the most often victimized people in the country, would become very well armed and educated on self defense, just to keep themselves and their families safer. Sadly, they've been drinking the leftist Kool-aid....from the very people that gave them slavery ,race riots, lynching, KKK and segregation. How did the knowledge about that reality change?

When, if ever is the GOP going to "get it"? They have failed miserably to address the real issues concerning the conservative voters and keep leaning increasingly left to accomadate a voter base that actually are die hard democrats or outright socialists. Just for fun, why doesn't the GOP switch horses and support CONSERVATIVE candidates? Might surprise them.

To heck with circling the wagons. The more bold, brassy and obnoxiously anti-left the candidate the better. Play dirty and dig up the dirt on every lefty candidate you can....believe me, the dirt, in heaping amounts, is there. It's the very nature of the left, and they have proven it. If common knowledge dirt were brought up and addressed constantly, all that would be necessary is to have a "clean" canidate of your own.

I aree. GOP seems unable to bring itself to put a real conservative candidate forward because they can't figure out exactly what they're doing. Rather than abandon the short sighted goal of "how much money can a candidate help campaign supporters make", the GOP continues in that direction rather than select candidates that actually represent voters. Voters, disgusted with such stupidity and simply tired of "taxation without representation" don't even bother to vote. Amazingly, after several failed attempts to support RINO candidates that lean increasingly left, the GOP still doesn't get it. Maybe they're just too stupoid to be a viable party any more and the Tea Party is the answer.
