"Society" long ago 'accepted' multiple partners. As we are talking about what the courts will enforce (not what 'society' will 'accept') you're pretty much missing the boat, and talking about irrelevancies, but even if you weren't, you'd be wrong; marriage was around long before Christ, and included multiple and same-sex partners in many parts of the world over many centuries. Ignoring that history to promulgate your mythical vision is simple ignorance and/or reprehensible bigotry, and until you get over it, your views don't deserve respect because they are based on ignoring, not accounting for, facts, logic and reality.

For the last two weeks Bill O'Reilly has committed multiple journalistic mis-steps.

As long as he is allowed to define the terms of the narrative of what happened they will not be corrected. His failure to do so is a massive public relations problem and a mis-step in itself.

He owes a significant demo of his viewership an apology. He owes them one quickly so that his previously demonstrable prejudice against people of faith does not cause unintended long term effects.
