Sending a Woman for a Man's Work

This situation is created by the rampant political correctness of our society. Ms fields writes as if the pentagon is behind this. Perhaps there are some that want to see women in combat, but mostly the folks in charge (esp the men) do not want to be sued and lambasted for being 'sexist'.

You can't insist that women be treated exactly like men in the military, and then cry because some of them get killed, or don't want to leave thir kids. Men face the same choices, and no one is suggesting that they be allowed to walk away from thier commitments because they have children.
