Among many reasons for being a "birther", interested in knowing that the POTUS is a constitutionally valid natural born citizen, is the main one that causes me to subscribe to the "birther" cause. Since the POTUS is being employed and paid by myself and all other taxpayers we employers have the right to know all of his records, especially those that would corroborate his eligibility to serve as POTUS.
Since the POTUS is a public figure, his records may not be expected to remain private but rather should be transparent to all researchers whether to prove his eligibility or to write historical tomes.
