The Labor Theory of Value

Very true in the personal sense as value to the individual. An oxymoron if there ever was one as applied to the external world. Unless you are laboring voluntarily in order to perform good deeds, you are selling your labor to someone else for money. There is no intrinsic value of this kind of labor, the only value is that which the employer assigns to it and that to which you agree. Conservatives don't think labor is the problem. They might think that organized labor is a problem because of the impediments introduced by them to agreements between employer and employee, but we are all free to negotiate our own deals, aren't we? And if we're not, well, why are you giving up that freedom?
