Sure, impeachment is just like an indictment, but the important point is that it is public, and will be preceding the 2014 elections. Conviction, in the Senate, is very unlikely, but conviction in the court of public opinion is another matter. While Obama can't run for a third term, remember that Hillary is very much in the middle of this. It is her future candidacy that would be at stake.

Why single out the Democrats? I find it increasingly different to distinguish between the two main stream parties. There are a few in Republican clothes who seem to think outside the conventional wisdom (Paul, Cruz, Chafetz, even Rubio) but they are ignored by the leadership.

THOSE that can't do , yes adherence to correct grammer is important; somewhat like adherence to the rule of law.
Ok, we'll let the b***h Pelosi claim partial credit
See reference to Dr Ben Carson, above
Did you hear Dr Ben Carson suggest a health care account into which pre-tax money from individuals could be contributed, plus government funds where appropriate, and dispersels to health care professionals would be controlled by the patients? Establish these accounts at birth, along with electronic health care records. Way too simple, and of coutse out of the reach of politicians. You anted an alternative. Nothing like market-driven consumer-controlled.

dbaker909 I hope your words are remembered when the people have agreed that Obamacare is a monstrosity and can recall that the first "reform" was authorized by Hillary.
Complexity is the cover for corruption. A patchwork fix fir this unread monstrosity will only enable every special interest to sneak in under the cover of that complexity. It must be, must be repealed in its entirety and a new plan started with the process, hearings et al, proceeding at a measured pace. As for me, I'd like to see a thorough hearing of Dr. Ben Carson's plan presented at the National Prayer Breakfast. Otherwise, we don't have a prayer (pun intended).

Making Libertarianism Mainstream 1. To address the issue of isolationism vs. non-interventionism, let us refer critics once again to Eisenhower’s dictum to “beware of the military-industrial complex”. For example, is it possible that the recent shipment of arms to the present regime in Egypt indicates that his message should be heeded? 2. To address the entitlement culture, let us have a high flat rate income tax, with savings exempted, to promote a “save to buy” culture over the “borrow to buy” which enslaves so many with debt. To address the needs of those with limited income, have a personal exemption high enough to cover basic costs of living. Where this and other exemptions noted below exceed income, apply the rate to the differenc
