The Dems are shamefully dangling the "shoes and jewelry" in front of the women in an attempt to secure their votes. Their accusations of "Republicans dreaming of a time when women and blacks couldn't vote" and "denial of contraception" are so bizarre that only the most simple-minded would fall for it. "Free" contraception is the predominant concern of American women? If that's true, we're doomed.

Hmmmm. Now what to do about the idiotic MEN who vote? I recently read a piece (I wish I could remember where, and by whom it was written) who suggested a basic reading-comprehension test -- IN ENGLISH! -- and a short quiz on Constitutional principles. But this will never fly, only because "literacy tests" were long ago used to discourage blacks from voting.

C'mon, people, blacks have had the franchise for more than 150 years. What's wrong with a requirement that will keep out ALL idiots, no matter their race or gender?
