“Scientists continue to study this issue today; the latest information suggests that, if the Earth’s climate were being controlled primarily by natural factors, the next glaciation would begin sometime in the next 1,500 years,” says the report. “However, humans have so altered the composition of the atmosphere that the next glaciation has now been delayed indefinitely.” Heh. If this is true, wouldn't this be a GOOD thing, and the case against "man-made global warming/climate change/take your pick" be even weaker? I've said it before, and I'll say it again. In twenty years, no one will be talking about global warming, any more than they talk about the overpopulation scare, the Alar scare, the AIDS scare, the Y2K scare, etc.

So true! I'm constantly baffled at all the fools who are so eager to lose their freedoms. They seem to think it's only "other people" whose freedoms will be impinged (like that's somehow a good argument?), but they are unfortunately too clueless and easily led to understand the real impact of what they're pushing for.

A decade later, when THE SAME PEOPLE started screeching about Global Warming and The Rise Of The Oceans, it was more a case of "Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me twice, shame on me"- Asteroids, Polar Bear Cannibalism Lead to Global Warming, or, uh, Something Bad

Dear KPar,

Oh, you didn’t hear the latest settled science.
