The Republicans' Primary Problem

"You keep thinking you're going to win people over with rages, threats, insults, fearmongering and hate-speak. " Coulter has plenty of insults, all well-deserved. I don't see any rages, threats, fearmongering or hate-speak.

Al Gore Warming

Global warming will go the way of the global cooling scare of the '70s.... ....The overpopulation scare of the '60s... ....The "AIDS is going to get in to the general population and kill 50% of us!" scare of the '90s... ....The Alar scare of the "80s... ....The acid rain scare of the '90s..... ....The Y2K scare of the late '90s.... ...and in general any scare tactic that the left wing chooses to use to further its end of controlling the general population. The problem is just trying to stop the leftists from trying to permanently change our country in the meantime....
"Common sense gun laws"? Well, what are they? The fact is, Archie, I don't trust people like you or Obama to tell me what "common sense gun laws" are. I've never owned a gun in my life. But I'm getting one next week. I don't trust you people and your "common sense". I don't trust your government. What I want is for your and your oppressive government to stay away from people me. And when you and your ilk simply can't resist the temptation to oppress me, I want to be able to defend myself.
Dear Ward/Bob: If you actually DIDN'T vote for Obama, then the message wasn't addressed to you. What Jonah and myself have a problem with are so-called "fiscal conservatives" who continue to vote Democrat because they just can't stand social conservatives. To that person (BOB): Fine. Vote for whoever you want, but don't pretend you're a "fiscal conservative". The dems are less fiscally conservative than the spendthrift Bush-type Rinos.

Anti-American Asians Don't Speak for Me

Chan reminds me of the great comedian Charlie Chaplin, who made his millions here, and then continuously insulted America and her freedoms. (In fairness, Chaplin also did much volunteer work during the first World War. As he became more socialistic, he became more anti-American.)

What worries me is that more females are being selected for abortion than men. Just what do they think is going to happen to millions of testosterone-pumping males with no women to marry and civilize them. The Chinese leadership may look north to Russia, and see all of the basically empty land and become territorially aggressive. Hope its not true; fear that it is.

It's a Christie Thing

Chris Christie is indeed a RINO, but he did good work in balancing NJ's bloated budget. At the present time, that's probably the best we can hope for in a blue state. My state, Michigan, had a liberal democrat governor for 8 years. Her name was Jennifer Granholm, a very attractive woman but a hopeless leftwinger. Not once did she submit a balanced budget, blaming everything on her predecessor (sound familiar?) Term limits forced her out. Our new governor, Rick Snyder managed to balance the budget in less than two years. The left is still screaming about it, of course. I say, take what solace you can. Snyder is not a conservative, but he is putting Michigan's fiscal house in order. That's an improvement over what we had.

Even if what you said were true, so what? Are you suggesting that we cut Israel loose, and let a decent country and people fend for itself, simply because the Islamic bullies might give us more slack? Disgusting.

Confessions of a Bad Woman

Not a bad woman at all, Mona. Simply one with common sense, and a truly unbiased outlook.
I agree. Bill Maher in particular is offensive on so many levels. How he ever succeeded as a stand-up comic is beyond my understanding.
