A "real Christianity" would be about people who believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ. It gets tiresome to be preached at by non-believers about what is Christian when they pick and choose what they think a "real" Christian is. Being a Christian is about believing something. How one lives is a consequence of what one believes. Socialism will always be hostile to the Christian person.

The current conundrum regarding the legalization of same-sex marriage is what happens when church and state are mixed -- the topics become confusing and confused.

When I married my husband almost 15 years ago, I did so out of love and out of a desire to witness before God my commitment to him and his to me. The legal and tax ramifications did not enter into my head.
