Bob, there's only one true 'Tax Freedom Day' in the life of each individual. And that includes the National Debt and unfunded long-term liabilities. And that day is the day of death! That's the only time we're free of tax and debt worries. And even though the estates could be taxed heavily, we're not going to worry about it. We'd be dead.

Tax Freedom Day is the day when the nation as a whole has earned enough money to pay off its total tax bill for the year.  Each Year, the Tax Foundations calculates that date, and for 2013 it's today, April 18.
