Don't the Democrats know that the lie that the 'Republicans are holding things up' is an old and trite one? The Democrats are gumming up the works, as always. This is a Party of power and hate. The Democrats, notably in Washington and New York City, have produced fraud, bribery, and even murder to force their ideas on the populace. And it was the Democrats who were involved with the creation of the Ku Klux Klan, taking it as their enforcement arm. The Democrat Senator Robert Byrd was a high official in the Klan. The sordid history of the Democrats doesn't seem to be known by some of the members, and it is ignored or glorified by the rest. Check on 'liar' in the dictionary You'll find a picture of a Democrat next to the definition.

The Republicans know it, but the general public are fed bs and lies by the pinko commie pig media, so........ the D'bags (Democrats) get away with being lousy leaders who buy their votes with taxpayer's hard-earned money through their welfare dependency for votes plan and growing government while hitting the private sector because public employees can be unionized so they can then own their votes too.

If that fails, then their's "free" cellphones for votes, stimulus shovel-ready bs kickbacks to the DNC, Solyndra-type failures for more kickbacks to the DNC, and on and on with waste and corruption v. merit with the Dems.

UPDATE: Senator Harry Reid appeared on the floor of the Senate this evening announcing that there would be no vote tonight. He said that they will reconvene Monday morning at 11am. “There’s still significant distance between the two sides, but negotiations continue,” Reid said. “There’s still time left to reach an agreement, and we intend to continue negotiations.” With only one day left of the year, it is looking like a very slim chance the two sides can come together to reach a fiscal cliff deal.

UPDATE: Republicans have taken the CPI off the table in an effort to help negotiations....
