I like your plan a lot, but it'll never work. Nobody follows that old document, the Constitution, anymore. Too restrictive. :-(
Tell that to everyone on Facebook, radio talk show hosts, etc., who keep saying *everything* is wrong with saying "happy holidays."
When I was growing up, we Christians all said Happy Holidays, because even we celebrated two holidays during this time of the year, Christmas and New Years, and it was shorthand for wishing people happiness during both. Now it's taken as an insult. Strange days.
Sorry, Doug, but I believe you are mistaken. If atheists publically and loudly object to Christmas because they don't believe in Jesus, why don't Jews, Pagans, Hindus, Buddhists, etc., etc., do the same? Sure, this may be true for some atheists, but I really don't think it's true for even most. But speaking of making themselves obnoxious during this season, don't ignore Christians themselves, who think they are the only ones on the planet who have a holiday during December and spout off indignantly that we shouldn't say "Happy Holidays", but must say "Merry Christmas". Right, because there are no Jews and Hanukkah, no pagans and Winter Solstice, etc., so anyone who wishes you happy holidays MUST be trying to take Christ out of Christmas.

Romney Was Not the Problem

Speaking of small minds, Ann Coulter is part of the "Beltway elites and country club establishment wing of the Republican Party" that Jenny Beth Martin spole of. Ann is now on the defense, and a big, loud-mouthed, patronizing part of the problem.
Could be. I keep hearing them talk about the need to befriend minorities rather than marginalize them. Which just plays to the MSM's false stereotyping of a party that is just as diverse than Dems, if not more so. I could support Rubio.
Christie would have been worse for the country than Romney, just another RINO like Bush.
My top Conservative storyline from 2012 is that we can thank Ann Coulter and other like-minded status quo, Corporate-paid Republican pundits for convincing enough of us that only Romney was electable, and that the rest of the field were all too conservative to win. Thanks to that line, too many conservatives stayed home, and won the election for Obama. We need a true Tea Party conservative to run, one without an anti-science, wack-job eccentricity or two, articulate and not prone to saying stupid stuff like most of the rest of the last bunch.
PMA2019 should also be in the running. PMA=Propaganda Mongering Arab?
Fear-monger much, do you? Confuse decriminalization of pot with decriminalizing DUI laws much?Confuse decriminalization of pot with everyone suddenly thiniing it's okay to be stoned on the job much? Yes, you do. Like nearly every other, normally rational conservative, you have drunk the government koolaid on this one issue.
