The following is an honest appraisal of women in combat from a female Marine Corps Captain who knows firsthand: http://www.mca-marines.org/gazette/article/get-over-it-we-are-not-all-created-equal
"In the current climate, we felt that the presence of MSRs [modern sporting rifles] would distract from the theme of hunting and fishing, disrupting the broader experience of our guests." Glad to know that modern sporting rifles have nothing to do with hunting. ;^)

Washington DC's gun ban (1976) prohibited anyone other than law-enforcement officers from carrying a firearm in the city. Residents were even barred from keeping guns in their homes for self-defense. The gun ban had an unintended effect: It emboldened criminals because they knew that law-abiding District residents were unarmed and powerless to defend themselves. Violent crime increased after the law was enacted, with homicides rising to 369 in 1988, from 188 in 1976 when the ban started. By 1993, annual homicides had reached 454. Declared unconstitutional, gun ban was struck down, and murders in the District have steadily gone down, from 186 in 2008 to 88 in 2012, less than half the number in 1976.

Typical. An ad hominem attack with nothing to back it up. Your ignorance is showing.

Too lazy to do some fact checking yourself? Ah, it is much easier to accuse, using disparaging quotes. Depending on the time period, murder was reported by various sources as the leading or third leading cause of death among pregnant and post-partum women. Thses reports do need to be taken with a grain of salt, as statistics capturing this data are incomplete, and not consistent from state to state. Sources other than the one listed by Mike2348 list the percentage of coerced abortions as being as high as 64%. These include pressure from parents, male partners, etc, so the level of coercion may vary. So, perhaps the stat should be for those abortions where the pregnant woman is forced, coerced or pressured.
If we were to get appreciably warmer, wheat cultivation would expand across wide swaths of Canada and Russia, as evidenced by history and a number of studies. The largest study, conducted by the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, includes temperature impacts, CO2 fertilization, and adaptation, and projects a 40.7 percent increase in grain production by 2050. Without global warming, production might have been half a percentage point higher. We still are below levels in our recent (in geologic time) past. The Norse explorers called it "Greenland" because grass grew there, sufficient to raise sheep and cattle. The onset of the "Little Ice Age" put an end to that.
First call to the police. Second call to my lawyer to sue that newspaper for publishing my address and making my house a target. Perhaps a class action suit would get their attention. And before anyone starts spouting 1st Amendment stuff, think of this in terms of not being able to shout "Fire" in a theater.
Clarence Thomas represents ALL Americans, AND the Constitution. Pity that there are not more like him in our judicial system, Congress, state houses, etc.
This is all about money. Award it to Clinton and hope that he helps you raise money going forward.
She needs to go back to the pistol range and practice. No way the criminal should have been able to leave the house in any way other than feet first.
