Come into the 21st Century. There are no "slave states." There are Southern states who once fought for the Confederacy. And all of those states have unions; however, a lot of those states are right-to-work states, so the unions do not have a stranglehold on the workers and the businesses. And in case you think I'm a Southerner, think again. I was born in Connecticut.
