considering ALL mass shootings from Columbine onward.... only ONE was perpetrated with the use of a lawfully possessed "assault weapon". ONLY ONE. Lanza did not even use one. None was found inside the school, the coroner, in his initial comments on leaving the building, declared all the vixtims he saw had been shot at fairly close range with handguns. Lastly, the "assault weapon" discovered in the trunk of the car Lanza drove to the school (not his, or his Mum's) was NOT an assault weapon, but a shotgun. I watched the video of the officer removing the weapon and clearing it. "Assault weapons" do not have a large diamter tube underneath the barrel, and almost as long.. that is a tubular magazine. The ejection port was on the right side, just

behind the receiver, the bolt had a small lever projecting toward the right. The officer had to "rack" the bolt several times to catch and eject each round, no box magazine to remove. The rounds ejected were large cylinders, about three inches long, yellow, not "pointy" at the business end, and somewhere near half to five eights inch diameter. No "charging handle" projecting rearward behind the receiver. It clearly is a shotgun. SO.. WHERE is Lanza's "assault weapon" of the style Feinstein wants to ban? NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. The whole thing is a lie.

In the new study performed by Forbes Insights, an independent and unbiased organization, they found that the “NRA and the pro-gun rights voices are winning the influence battle and will continue to be strong and more influential if the pro gun control voice remains fragmented”.
