So Mr Brown, has a column and can write about any topic he chooses. He must have wanted the topic to be same sex couples ability to marry and not the focus on the Super Bowl. He claims he doesn't want to discuss it but then uses his published column to make it an issue? I mean he could have written about how the Super Bowl is the quintessential American game and represents true American values. He could have written about the Commercials etc. Instead he brings up a player whom I never heard of,(I am an Eagles Fan) who is a linebacker of no particular note, and Mr Brown brings up how the linebacker is a supporter of same sex couples right to marry. Most TH readers would never have known this if Mr Brown had not publicized it.

Is it too much to ask that the focus of this Sunday be on football and not on “gay rights”? Will I be branded as a homophobic bigot for daring to make such a request? (I can answer that already: Yes!)
