Now who sets the standard DCM. ? Is it a federal standard? Then where is the Constitutional authority? If it is a state standard 9 states standard is two consenting adults . So in those 9 states are the marriages treated equally? Multiple circuit court cases say no and the Supreme Court granted 'cert' to hear the appeals this year
