It does so there is a pool of workers from which to draw new employees and expand business. It should be 3 to 6% unemployment. Now we have reported unemployment of 8.3% Showing Obama's failed economic policies we have high unemployment, inflation, low GDP growth, mounting National debt and high energy costs. From mid 80s to 2007 we had unemployment generally where it should be. That is Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush. Obama has had consistently high unemployment. Why vote for him instead of someone that can fix it?

That's all nice but it has to do with wages.......

Again showing his complete ignorance of Macroeconomics.

If there was 97-100% employment, the only way to get a new employee to expand or start a business is to pay them more and more. That drives up business costs.

Higher business costs does one of two things, it slows or stops new business costs and/or raises costs of goods and services through inflation. Since both of those things are bad, the answer is unemployment should be between 3 and 6%

The wages are tied to the pool of available employees. They are 2 sides of the same coin not separate things
