The solution is to go to the high ground and focus on restoring our original limited constitutional government. However, given the deep entrenchment of the special interests and Supreme Court decisions behind this unconstitutional expansion of federal power, to accomplish this we must turn to the ultimate power the Framers gave us - amendment. Of course, Congress will not enact amendments limiting its own powers. Therefore, the first step is to reform the amendment process to enable the states to initiate and enact amendments without going through Congress or the unworkable and outmoded mechanism of a convention.
