Ms. Parker starts this column with a pertinent question: "Why, when capitalism has created wealth and eradicated poverty, do left-wing politicians hate it so much? After all, it's supposed to be the left that cares about the poor." Think in terms of Game Theory: 1 - We live in a democracy. In a democracy the folks who get the most votes win. Poor people overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. What politicians want most is to win. Therefore it is in the interest of Democrats to manufacture more poor people. 2 - Poor people don't want to stay poor. The best way to keep people poor is to keep them ignorant. It is easier to fool ignorant people than well educated people. In a nation with an historically excellent education system the best way to manufacture ignorant people is to sabotage the educational system. Once you understand these two Game Theory logic streams you understand the Democrat's long term game plan.

The same thresholds are used throughout the United States (do not vary geographically)…. If total family income is less than the threshold appropriate for that family the family is in poverty.” “Income Used to Compute Poverty Status … Excludes capital gains” [ie – if I sell a BI
Read your history - historically the KKK was the Democratic Party.
