Can the rich afford to pay more in taxes? Of course they can. But liberals ignore the real question. Can the working Americans afford for them to do so? A business will lay off workers or cut back expansion plans to pay for the new taxes coming their way. The tax cuts for the rich are more than offset by the tax increases under Obamacare.

What a brilliant idea. Before taking office in 2009, President Obama promised to have the most transparent administration in history. Throughout his first term, we've seen anything but transparency but now would be a great time for redemption. President of Americans for Tax Reform Grover Norquist has called for fiscal cliff negotiations to take place in front of TV cameras where we can all see how our politicians plan to change our lives on January 1.
