David Gregory's Props and Pomposity

David Gregory demonstrated what tens or hundreds of millions of gun owners already know. You can possess a high capacity magazine and have no intention of ever using its capacity to kill others. A quarter of a billion guns in the hands of law abiding citizens and the collectivist liberal still doesn't get it. Another point is that government will do nothing to enforce the law when it suits their political purposes.

But Gregory is a liberal. Liberals, unlike us redneck, God loving, conservatives, would never consider using an illegal magazine to do someone harm. Conservatives are just waiting to shoot up a school, church, government building, movie theater, mall, etc. Thus we cannot be trusted with a magazine which holds more than 10 rounds. Why not? Liberals have said so.

Are you referring to those gun totin' Tea Party assassins like John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, Sirhan Sirhan, James Earl Ray, John Hinkley, Ted Kaczynsky, Jared Lougher, Adam Lanza? If so, I entirely agree with you.

OMG!!! If there were a common thread among these deviants, it would certainly NOT be a Tea Party perspective! Oswald was an avowed socialist...the most common thread might be loner psychotics-- Sirhan, Oswald (Socialist), Kaczynski (a radical Leftist), Lougher, Lanza, Hinkley.
The D.C. police investigation of NBC hotshot David Gregory for waving around an empty ammo magazine on "Meet the Press" easily proves two things. First, D.C.'s "ammunition control" laws are ridiculous. But more importantly, once again, we find the arrogance of the national press knows no boundaries.

Let us stipulate that this kind of law is just plain stupid. Empty ammo magazines are less threatening than mosquitoes. The point is, however, that liberals like David Gregory do subscribe to this kind of idiotic law -- for everyone else.

Was Gregory so ignorant that he didn't know he was breaking...
