I don't support this position, kids who understand their will have to pay at least a portion of their college cost may make a better decision on a career path. Give them a free ride and they may pick performing arts as a major. ------------------------------------- An inability to make sound decisions about one's education should not create a multi-billion dollar federal student loan program. Let the states fund their own higher education systems and return to the people the money currently taken in taxes used to pay for the federal loan programs.

How about we simply eliminate the entire Federal government and return ALL rights and funds to the states? It was a good idea for a while (maybe first 100 years), but it just hasn't worked out federal government. It's not you, it's US. We're just not that into you anymore.
