In response to:

Hillary: Blame Me For Benghazi

I said this last night, and I'll say it again... I actually give Hillary credit for having the balls to take one for the team, even if it's only to deflect scrutiny away from her boss. Once again, Obama has the tiniest, most shrink prone testicles in politics. How did a man with so little courage get elected president? That said, in the absence of any real consequences regarding Hillary Clinton's now admitted deadly error, her throwing herself on the proverbial sword is a hollow gesture at best. Is she the ultimate sacrificial lamb Oliver North in drag or is she truly courageous? I just don't know.

I don't think she's truly courageous for this. Her statements pin the blame clearly on "security professionals" botching the decision to weigh the risks and precautions. She waited until the damage to Obama was already done. But she gets credit for taking one for the team, even though she's not really taking the responsibility.

Further, none of what she said even pretends to address the deceit campaign about the attack being caused by a freaking youtube video. That's STILL firmly all over the President. Hillary's taking a shot at 2016...

It takes no real courage or character at all to accept responsibility for the obvious. This is her job.

The proper reaction to her failure is resignation.

Thump... Perhaps!

Did Hillary Clinton Setup Obama for Tonight’s Debate?

Taking the blame goes a long way politically. Her “the buck stops here” admission makes the president look SMALL. Did she do this on purpose? Is she setting herself up for a run in 2016 by distancing herself from Obama’s blame-shifting political strategy?

She took "responsibility" for it because she knows she isn't responsible. It is easy to take the blame when you know you didn't do it and it will be proven that you didn't.

The buck stops over there, at State.  Sort of:

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the bucks stops with her when it comes to who is blame for a deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi."I take responsibility" for what happened on September 11, Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Elise Labott soon after arriving in Lima, Peru for a visit. The interview, one of a series given to U.S. television networks Monday night, were the first she has given...
