I was showing Senator Harkin around an 18th century plantation greathouse in the Virgin Islands a few years ago. He asked, "What was the economy around here then?" Good grief.

Judging from the "poems" one sees in the New Yorker, it appears that any new blood in this industry would God-sent.

Why in heaven's name would legalization of Maryjane increase its consumption? Anyone of any age can get it now, in any state, quite easily. When booze was outlawed, consumption dramatically increased -- and the government actually laced random bottles of smuggled liquor with deadly poison. Get real, Becky.

"Homophobia" means, if you know your stuff, fear of the same. Or fear of the like. Rejection of homosexuality should be "homogyny," although that isn't a word, yet. To support (enthusiastically) homosexuality you would be a "homophile." Just saying.

First you say that almost everyone uses pot in Colorado, then you say that legalization will render unthinkable disasters. Huh?
