In response to:

Why Rubio for Vice President Makes Sense

Why won't anybody understand that Rubio is not eligible (He is not a "natural born citizen") So pick up some of the Cuban vote in Miami and lose millions of us who still believe that the Constitution is what matters. Either it means what it says or it doesn't mean a damn thing. I swore an oath to God to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. I will not vote to violate that oath. Just because you and a lot of others have refused to recognize that Obama is not eligible and won't do anything to correct the mistake made because he was not even vetted. (Afraid that they would be called racist and there might be a black backlash.) Well America is now being run by anti-Americans (Marxists)

EXACTLY. I believe that's one of the reasons why the GOP/RNC is cutting and running from any discussion of Barry's Usurpation of the Office because they've had their eyes on Rubio. They are as much Oath breakers as the DemonRATS. And need to be called on it, whenever we get a chance. I did it the other day when the RNC called to invite me to join the party and pay them 100 to 200 dollars for the privilege. And I got the same song and dance we are reading here, that Rubio was born in this country therefor he is a Natural Born Citizen and is eligible. That lit my fuse and that guy got schooled
yet he went right back to the talking points which was the point I hung up on him.

Rubio was born in Miami, so he is a natural born citizen even though his parents had not yet become naturalzied citizens.

Sorry, regardless of where you are born (on US soil or off it), BOTH parents should be US citizens at the time of your birth to be "natural born US citizen", as opposed to "native born" US citizen (born on US soil). This is why Obama, regardless of where he was born, does not qualify as "natural born US citizen", since his father was NEVER a US citizen!!

Where did you get that definition? Maybe you should read up on the issue via the Federalist Papers, and more recently the conversation of April 2008 between Sen Leahy Chair of the
Senate Judciary Committee and the former Sec of the dept of Homeland Security and FORMER FEDERAL JUDGE Micheal Chertoff regarding the meaning of NATURAL BORN CITIZEN before you start posting ignorance.

If a person was born in the United States, of non-citizen parents, he or she might (under some circumstances) be considered a "citizen", but the Supreme Court has never referred to such a person as a "natural born citizen". Whenever the Supreme Court has deemed an individual to be a "natural born citizen", the individual was always U.S.-born of U.S.-citizen parents.

Wrong sir!! You must be born of 2 American Citizen parents on American soil to be a Natural Born Citizen. A Citizen by Birth (as Rubio is) IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR VICE PRESIDENT.

So at the bare minimum, we need a USSC ruling on what a "natural born US citizen" would be EVEN IF Obama was born in the USA (which is still in doubt). Nothing but a clear cut ruling by the Supreme Court will settle the issue.
Yes, this column is based out of Florida, so it would seem that an opinion piece suggesting that Marco Rubio makes the most sense for vice president on the Republican side would normally appear to be "home cooking." But until recently, there have been plenty of reasons to believe that perhaps other names made more sense as a choice for Mitt Romney.

In the recent issue of Newsmax magazine, I am quoted as saying that former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee would be the best choice for the GOP ticket. And in many ways he still would be a superlative choice. Huckabee...
