Can one be an American yet remain anonymous to the American government? I despise the very notion of big government, so I am inclined to say to hell with a national ID database. However, at the time, I see a real need in our country for a means to determine if a person has the right to vote or receive government aid.
Agreed. What does pay levels have to do with granting criminals amnesty? Our Corrupternment know no bounds.

" Honest? Ethical? Are you serious? Just because Obama is evil doesn't make saints of any of those you mentioned. They are no better than Obama, they just offer a different kind of evil. Left or Right, Republican or Democrat, it doesn't matter -- any of them that dont work towards limited, Constitutional government are an evil we cannot afford. (Take a look at Rubio for the latest example of a supposed "good" guy gone bad.)

Another sad fact to this story is that Obama's term as POTUS will likely be over BEFORE this issue gets resolved! He'll walk away without a scratch. There is no justice in our Corrupternment.
Sorry, but I dont believe you Jeff. Oh, dont get me wrong, I am sure there are documents saying that our Corrupternment spent X, Y, and Z on border security. But I do not believe our borders are secure.

Our Stained, Muzzled Military

"But this will never happen. The hierarchy of military power precludes all ranks from publicly highlighting the duplicity of the President, a rule which probably serves us well." No. Wrong. The military serve The People -- just as the POTUS is supposed too. If the POTUS commits treason, its our military who should take him down.

A Queer Need for Rejection

While I agree that there are a lot of people(gay/straight) doing wrong in the name of promoting tolerance, I take exception to your (above) lie. We know that we are not ruled by single genes alone -- but also by their combination. This is confirmed science. We also know that a persons gender is not limited strictly to male or female. Given that, it is willful deception to say that there is no gay gene implying that there is no genetic underlying cause. Again, you've never answered the questions: 1) Did God make hermaphrodites? 2) If He did, who should they be attracted to? Who is it OK (by you/God) for them to sleep with. I use hermaphrodite here because the difference is visible obvious (in many, but not ALL cases). People need to understand that Gods Law does not synchronize with Natures Law.
Dreadnaught011 seems to be a perfect example of the kind of person Ann was warning us about. These people have no wisdom and no honor -- they will take from you without regard or regret to give to someone they FEEL is in more need.
Death is a part of life? I could not imagine a more cold/vile thing to say about Terry's murder or the Benghazi situation. Cummings should be put to hard labor for the rest of his life building border fences. THAT would be justice.

I'm not sure why the author refers to pot. While I dont advocate it, our government has no constitutional right to tell us what we can or cannot smoke.
