is it too much to ask God to smite every corrupt politician so that we can start over?

The Bible tells us that God chooses who will be the leaders of nations, but it does not tell us why He so often chooses the most corrupt among us for those positions. My theory is that many of us have turned our backs on Him, and sold our soul to our big brother in Washington that gives us money, that He gives us the leaders we are worthy of. It's sad and unfair that those of us who have not turned our back on God have to live under those same leaders, but that's always the way it goes.

Amen. I believe that GOD has been sending us warning after warning which have been ignored..9/11 is one example however the anger was brief, the sorrow and the church visits ended and the prayer mostly ended except for those of us who are strong believers. I would suggest those who doubt what we have posted read The Harbinger and/or watch the dvd,
Isaiah 9:10..and think about what Rabbi Cahn is saying. I believe only GOD can repair this Republic and for that to happen we need national repentence as in 2 Chon 7:14

Although President Obama is getting a temporary break from the debt ceiling fight as a result of this...
