Understood. Considering this news story features the home schooled Santorum children, don't you think it is appropriate to "clarify" so voters know the rest of the story?

Not directed at you. Sorry if it came across that way. I try to stay off the caffeine. Sweet green tea mostly!

The true conservatives are here. The modern conservatives are hiding. I'm not paid to do any of this. I'm trying to wake people up because they are not being given all the information necessary in vetting these people. So how would I be a leftist troll by pointing out Newt Gingrich's support of the Third Wave and Alvin Toffler? You should be concerned about those masquerading as something they are not. So tell me, how is Third Wave philosophy conservative? Self-proclaimed futurist Newt writes the foreword to one of their books and recommends it to Congress for reading after his ascension to the Speaker position. http://www.amazon.com/Creating-New-Civilization-Politics-Third/dp/1570362238

Does anyone not do their own research anymore? Quit taking your orders from sound bite pushers with an agenda. It's called critical thinking people. Try it sometime. You get what you deserve if you don't.

I hate to burst the Santorum crowds bubble but he's a liar. His kids may have been home schooled at some point but there is a reason why they were. It was because he couldn't pass the cost off onto the tax payers of Pennsylvania any longer. His kids were enrolled in a cyber charter school at an estimated cost of $72,000 to local taxpayers. Read from page 207 on from the 2006 Most Corrupt List. http://www.crewsmostcorrupt.org/mostcorrupt/entry/most-corrupt-2006 You'll find plenty more pandering to special interests and taking money for favors. Did you really expect anything more than that?
What you've you've basically done is outline modern Fascism. The State decides what is patriotic, what is right, what freedom is, what is righteous. Strong homeland security is the crowning achievement of control hungry politicians. Keep the people in fear and they will gladly hand over their freedoms. It works every time.
It seems you are the one "willfully ignoring our Founding Fathers, who believed that limited government only endures when individuals govern themselves." Take your pick...do you think the people should govern themselves or do you think government should intervene in righteousness? Pick up Reagan's mantle? And spend like a drunken sailor again? Expand federal government again? Modern conservatives are drunk with financial power and have abandoned their true conservative principles.
Do you have any idea what you just said here?" ...fail to grasp this simple fact, and so pervert the concept of freedom to mean that individuals are free to do whatever they like, free of any concept of right-and-wrong or of personal responsibility or self-control." So what you are saying is government determines what is right and wrong and what freedom is. You cannot legislate morality. The best you can do is hope to ensure freedom and liberty is preserved for all to pursue. You can't decide what you want to control because you don't like it and call it freedom. The Left does the same thing.

The Year of Newt

Explain Perry's invitation to the Bilderberg meetings in 2007? You can throw that conservative resume out the window when hobnobbing with internationalists. Ask yourself why hasn't he been held accountable under the Logan Act? The Logan Act, which outlaws meetings of government officials with private citizens to make public policy unless they are held in public, not behind locked and guarded doors as is the case at the annual Bilderberg meetings. Want a North American Union? Then Perry is your guy. Great, let's follow the EU model since that's worked out so well. Perry will serve a different master than the American people if elected.

How is it all of you haven't heard of The Third Wave and Gingrich's buy-in to that philosophy? Alvin Toffler is Newt's guru much like Bill Ayers was Obama's. Newt is a professed futurist. He is certainly no conservative. The Contract with America did not but expand the power of the the federal government. Conservative ideology would have sought to do away with government intervention and spending. Balancing a budget sounds great but did you ever stop to see if that budget was increasing every year? Who fast tracked GATT and acknowledged it's ceding of American sovereignty to a foreign body (the UN). That sure upheld and protected the Constitution now didn't it?
