A Couple of Thoughts On President Obama

"But what I think he is, at his core, is an agenda-driven liberal with the charm of an actor working off a good script who will do anything he has to implement his agenda and couldn’t care less about restriction on his power or the people over whom he “rules"..." Best quote from the article, Derek. You nailed that one right on the head. I have really gotten the best belly-laughs this week from Obama's references to "the gentleman who played Mitt Romney" in the debate. I think that it is so telling, such a mirror held up to Obama's own persona- the irony of his joking is absolutely palpable... except, he's gotten too lazy to mask his true self anymore. Well, lazy or overly confident- which usually makes people lazy.

This country wants progressivism.

It IS far too late to stop us. We have been laying the groundwork for this since the 1930's. In the 60's we started seeing the first major victories for us that we knew down the road would let us take over this nation.

So if I were you I would get on the winning side...while you can.

YOU may wish to believe in a fake and worship a false idol. I do not. And will not. So save your unsolicited, psychotic advice for someone of your own disturbed like-mind, it is unwelcome here. We can resume this discussion on November 7th.

Isn't it about time for your morning "shock therapy" session? Or do they give you a break on Sundays?

And everywhere Progressives win, the country fails.

And what happens if we don't get on what you purport is the "winning side"? If we follow your lead, our country loses and soon we begin to look like Europe and Greece. Even if Bernanke keeps printing money if there's nothing behind it it's useless. "That's the problem with Socialism, eventually you run out of other people's money" Margaret Thatcher.

Allison:
NO, the country does NOT want "progressivism." Surveys consistently show that conservatives outnumber liberals two to one. What you have is a bunch of dumbed-down people who vote for "progressives" like Obama because what he says sounds good to them. If they truly understood what your push towards socialism meant, they would run screaaming in the opposite direction.

No, Only fools like YOU want progressivism.

"So if I were you I would get on the winning side...while you can."

We are the winning side. Just ask Governor Walker. And your "while you still can threat" is eventually going to buy you a lot more trouble then you can imagine, you Nazi punk.

Oh man, what a week. My thoughts on the debate were pretty much in line with every other two-legged creature roaming the Earth, and my reaction to the blame-game in the aftermath of the Romney victory still brings a smile to my face. Who didn’t enjoy watching Chris Matthews meltdown? I got to accurately call Barack Obama “the nation’s first ‘participation trophy’ President” and point out how he’s “conducted his presidency in bubble-wrap.”

But it wasn’t all fun. The unemployment numbers came out Friday and the rate dropped from 8.1 percent to 7.8 percent. Although that sounds like...
