I would vote for any of Paul, Cain, Perry, Gingrich, Santorum, Bachman or just about anyone except Romney. I don't even like some of those candidates - there are some real goofballs in the bunch - but we can't afford to be fussy. But I question the anti-Obama credentials of anyone who would vote for Romney. I question whether they really understand or care how bad Obama is for our country.
People keep asking Romney to be something he's not. Romney is not going to send a bold, clear message unless it's to attack and marginalize conservatives. That's the only thing he and his staff are going to show any passion about. I hope he chooses a RINO running mate so we can defeat two of them at once this fall. People who think Romney can be a replacement for Obama do not oppose Obama's policies nearly as strongly as they ought to. Those of us who understand how dangerously destructive Obama really is will not be voting for Romney.

Romneyites showing their true colors. Dissent will be no more tolerated under Romney than under Obama.

You know all those people who say defeating Obama is the number one goal, that it's so important that we need to elect Romney to do it? Those people are faking it. If Romney gets elected, a year from now those same people will be defending Obama-like policies because the Democrats will be attacking Romney for implementing the Obama policies that they are now pushing. So the so-called conservatives will be defending Romney against Dems. People who say Romney is a plausible replacement for Obama don't understand how destructive Obama has been to our country. Or they do understand but don't care.

I don't think that's true. Even some of his wackiest Establishment Republican detractors don't go that far.
Give it up, Jonah. He's an Establishment Republican -- a Official Certified Dinosaur. Dinosaurs have no Leviathan-fighting skills. You can't reinvent him. His type may be interesting to paleontologists but not to voters.
