Go ahead and vote for the ultra left Kirk, but your premise is flawed. Kirk would not be a conservative voice in the Senate, and would in fact vore with durbin more often than not. To me it is a question of what the GOP in Illinois should be. Your logic? would have allowed Judy Youstinka to be our governor. Thankfully, many conservatives joined me in saying no to her liberal politics. They will do so again this time. I will not validate the liberal ideology that permeates this party in illinois. So for those counting potential senate flips in November, they are in for a big surprise in illinois. Unless Giannoulias is really heavily involved in a scandal, Kirk will NOT win this election. Conerrvatives will live to fight again.
