In response to:

On Obamacare, I Won't Comply

I see no reason to comply with ObamaCare, which makes it impossible for me to buy a high-deductible policy that only covers catastrophic health care events. What I will do: 1. Change my W-4 Form and claim 10 exemptions. That will give me a greater weekly paycheck and insure that I do not get a tax refund next April 15. 2. Use the extra cash to buy silver coins. 3. Pay cash for routine health care expenses (annual exams, strep throat tests, etc.). 4. Refuse to pay the ObamaCare tax for not having insurance. (The IRS can only take it out of my refund... but I will have not refund.) 5. If I get sick or injured, I will buy insurance at that point - because ObamaCare prohibits the insurer from turning me down.

The Obama Timeline author: WOW! I think you have hit on the best way to break our government. That's what we need. The only way to get their attention is through their pocketbooks. I believe you have hit on the answer. People think over what he is telling you.

6. I will cancel the policy after the completion of the treatment/care.
7. If tens of millions of people do the same thing, ObamaCare will collapse.
8. The problem, of course, is that private insurers will go out of business - which is precisely what Obama wants. He will then nationalize the entire system.

Dude, if you live in a state that says they will not develop insurance exchanges, then you are okay. Here is the deal - Obamacare states that exchanges have to be developed by the states in order for clients to receive subsidies on their insurance and your insurance has to be purchased through that state exchange. If the states don't develop the exchanges then the Feds have the authority to develop the exchange for the state. The only problem here is that no money has been appropriated by Congress for Federal control of state exchanges. I live in SC and we are not developing insurance exchanges here.

Already working on the same plan. I will not comply. I agree with every part of what you said, including the insanity of not allowing me to get a HSA or high deductible policy.

It will make enjoyable watching when the IRS goes after you and your scam. Typical libetarian moocher who assumes a holier-than-thou position.

Americans know instinctively that when liberals start talking about deficit reduction that’s it’s just a case of the fantods, as Huckleberry Finn would say. And say what you will about old Huck, but he knew a couple of frauds when he saw them.

No matter what liberal “Wonks” like Ezra Klein say about the historically dumb healthcare “reform” known as Obamcare, Americans are uneasy about it.

And they should be.

The best thing- as Democrat strategist James Carville admitted last year- that could have happened for the Democrats is for the Supreme Court to have tossed out the...
