Lot of people don't realize as you do, that this is "Brain Washing" of our young people. Over time, if all you hear is that being responsible, successful, and well off, is the WRONG thing to aspire to, why bother trying? Why not stay in the trenches, out of sight, and out of harms way. That may sound like a joke, but how do we learn what to do? We are influenced by peer pressures, the general known way of life, society's way of doing things. If we are pounded for years that rich people are the most disgusting part of life, how could you NOT think being rich is wrong? You created the next bunch of uninvolved, non voting, disconnected, low information public.

In the hours leading up to the "Sequester" kicking in late last Friday, President Obama clung to his familiar refrain.  In speech after endless speech, Obama said that it was simply "dumb" to reduce spending and predicted catastrophic consequences.  What was needed, Obama argued, was higher tax revenue.

"Dumb" though it may be; the President conveniently forgot that the Sequester was his idea in the first place.
