Bravo, VDH. In a similar vein, immediately after the election, I thought that what the GOP should do is publicly announce that they would not stand in the way of anything Obama wants, but rather than voting for any legislation he wanted, they would pull an Obama and vote "present." Then, when it comes crashing down, they can simply point out that the Dems own whatever the results are (and they were not the "obstructionists" that Obama used as a punching bag lablel for the past two years).

Absolutely, let them own it. No more scapegoating the right. It will be painful but the end results will be a clear distinction between left and right. It could spell the end of the libs for a generation.
