In American, correctly pronounced Sow'-tow-may'-er, is a progressive activist. She always has been and I suppose she always will be. That is exactly why Obama picked her. You missed the point. The money went to those counties as a payoff, not to ease their need. Other counties are in need also, but are no receiving any money because they did not support Obama as vigorously.

It's simple political payoff. Nothing new, but the "gracious god" Obama has carried it to a new extreme.

The war which occurred between various states of the United States with each other was fought over and caused by the issue of States' Rights. It had to do with slavery only in the sense that the southern states did not want the northen states to tell them that they couldn't have slavery if they wanted to.

It could have well as been over real estate taxes or the manufacture and sale of alcohol or any other issue which fell within those rights reserved to the states of which slavery was one.
