That's right, Mrs. Biden. Just go ahead and fire a couple of blasts from your double-barelled shotgun. You'll then have a very expensive club in your hands as you die in a fusillade of Secret Service bullets.

Oh, no. Now you've insulted the Japanese by denigrating Mt. Fujiyama, a chunk of rock they consider sacred. Want a job at the Obama/Clinton State Department?

Don't eat sushi. There's something fishy about it. It probably has a lot of mercury in it and before you know it, you'll have a stripe running up your body and people will know that global warming is true when it reaches your neck. Besides, if you don't eat sushi there's more for me.
I send my bride off to work every day while I piddle about the house with various "projects" designed to keep me busy in retirement. In the early evening, I fix dinner, a project which I enjoy and during which I usually manage to create an unholy mess in the kitchen. After we eat, my wife cleans up the mess I've made. I don't know if it's "fair" - but it works for me.

I Like Gary Johnson

I concur with those who admire Johnson's positions but are realisitc enough to know that he hasn't a snowball's chance in Hades of being elected. Our choices are Romney or four more years of Obamination, period. We may not like it, but "It is what it is". Perhaps we should try instead to make the Republican Party more libertarian in its outlook and platform.
While I'm sorry for the death of our ambassasor and the other 3 American lives lost, I'm not going to lay the blame at the feet of the State Department. If your duties entail your sitting in front of a fan in full knowledge that there's someone always sitting behind it with a big bag of manure, it would seem to me that you'd better be ready to duck, jump, or otherwise get out of the way when that manure hits the fan.
The poverty is not so much of material things as it is a poverty of morality, of being taught what is "the right thing to do" and there being effective consequences for NOT doing the right thing. We cannot bemoan the fact that 70% of African-American births are out of wedlock when we subsidize the consequences of the act. If one sees a bleak outlook for being careless or downright neglectful, perhaps he/she will think twice before doing it.
We have a president who uses decrees to circumvent our elected officials. We have an Attorney General who ignores the law (the Philadelphia Black Panthers and DOMA) except to apply it to punish those whose opinion differs from our "Leader" (Gallup). Think Hitler and Himmler and you come pretty close with the comparisons. And they have the gall to call Republicans "Nazis"?

A correction, Mr. Goldberg. The man who was shot was the security guard, not the building manager. Otherwise, you are spot on.
Stop Congress critters from lying? Why don't we stop Muslims from hating Christians and Jews while we're at it? BTW, I noted that you have libeled peas in your commentary. Peas, like most other vegetables, are quite nutritious and therefore good for you. All we are saying is - Give peas a chance.
