This is a very good column. Hunter (and a few other TH denizens) are starting to see the real problem in the last election. Obama was elected for his charisma, not his policies. (Obama's election formula: charisma + bigotry + fraud = victory.) But he is wrong when he states, " In the magnetism column, Republicans currently have no equal [to BO]." False. Sarah Palin has more charisma in the her little toenail than BO will ever have altogether. The greatest destruction Rove and his ilk have ever wrought on the US was allow without a fight, and sometimes actively support, the political destruction of Sarah Palin by the Dims and media. There's a reason libs go more berserk over Sarah than any other Repub. It's the charisma, stupid.

Infighting continued amongst conservatives and Republicans this week. Karl Rove angered Tea Partiers by implying they don’t know how to pick candidates. Majority Leader Eric Cantor told anyone who would listen Republicans need to learn to craft their message better for a broader audience. Every conservative group and politician is scrambling to find a way to appeal to various groups of Americans in a way that will “work” to win them votes. It reeks of desperation…and it’s nothing new.
