Failure: Unions in America Today

Why doesn't the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union start their own grocery store or department store chain if they think they have a better way of employing and paying their workers? Will any pro-union person answer this?

Democracy and Majority Rule

"If a simple majority were the rule, conceivably these nine states could determine the presidency...Were it not for the Electoral College, presidential candidates could safely ignore less populous states." This is why the framers of the Constitution created the Electoral College. As a red-stater, there is no way in hell I'd want to be governed by large-populated, and liberal, states like California, New York and Illinois. Just as Rhode Island didn't want to be run rough-shod by Virginia in 1787.
I had the same thought, but that will also hurt me too, so I'm wary of trying something like that.
More than likely it was those children and grandchildren who voted for Comrade Obama.

One of the first things Pres. Romney should do until Obamacare is fully repealed is to grant an exemption to every single American from that horrendous act.
The best argument for America comes from people like Peterffy who fled communist dictator ships and have thrived and flourished here.
Wonder what he'll shave off when Romney wins all three states!

You could get better economic advice from the E-Trade baby than you could from Krugman.

"There are other barriers like a slack work ethic and limited intellectual firepower (Greece) needed to compete in the global economy." I wonder if Nicole Petallides and Andrea Tantaros would agree basically calling the Greeks lazy and dumb? I think they would to some extent.

#IAmthe53 "Those carrying the load are tired." Move over, Walter E. Williams, step aside Dr. Thomas Sowell, Charles Payne is taking over! You're all great.
During the passed couple of weeks, I can't help but recall the shenanigans of the Westboro Baptist Church and comparing it to the violence from the Islamo-fascists. The worst thing Westboro has done to date is hold up stupid signs and chant. They haven't killed anybody, or burned anything, and yet they are probably more reviled by the left than the Islamist who really want to subjugate or kill them.
