Then let those 1,000 MDs treat those people for free. Don't make me pay for them.
I don't make a whole lot of money, but I do have health insurance through my job. It is NOT my responsibility, nor the government's, to pay for someone else's health insurance/care. Forced health insurance is not the solution. It does not mean health care.

I think it's part of the liberal zero-sum game mentality - for women to succeed, men must fail. Women are succeeding in business as well as education because they are encouraged much more than men are. Also, the Pew research said most of those woman head of households are single moms! Certainly that cannot be good for the family or the children.
I was watching coverage on CBS and one of the reporters made about the same kind of remark.

Never understood why we need to change our laws to placate foreign nationals.
Actually, CBS Evening News did mention the 14% number, but it was only in the tag to the story hyping the 7.7%. With any discussion about unemployment, we need t think about numbers such as those who've stopped looking for work, under-employment, and those one long-term unemployment benefits and don't want to look for work. How much higher would that 7.7% go if long-term unemployment benefits stopped?

Why doesn't the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union start their own grocery store or department store chain if they think they have a better way of employing and paying their workers? Will any pro-union person answer this?
