Thank God my youngest graduated this year. He could never have survived on the amount of food they were trying to restrict school lunches too. This spring alone a minimum of 15 hours a week for his various soccer teams. He was playing on five teams this spring. He was running miles every day and had not an ounce of fat. The problem with any "one size fits all" government solution is that the kids are NOT all the same. Some, like Chewy are super active and some are sedentary like my elder computer geek blogger son. Not to mention that a 4'10" cheerleader cannot eat the way my 5'8" athletically gifted son can. It is just stupid to starve some kids because some other kids have irresponsible parents. And if he hadnt already graduated I would be raising h€ll with the district if they had tried to follow through on Michelle's stupid policy.

Liberal policies like the EPAs war on coal and other cheap energy, The open borders and amnesty sham Obamacare The list is endless but these policies disproptionally hurt the poor. They also go a long way toward reducing the middle class.
Correction. Mexico lost Texas in 1836 at the battle of San Jacinto. We were the Republic of Texas, independent of Mexico from 1836 until we joined the US in 1845.
Obama is the direct cause of the flood of underage illegal aliens. He promised the Dream act is going to be implemented without Congress passing the bill. Why else the flood?
Hubby and I are both 52 and have not believed we will ever see anything from social security since the late 80s. We planned accordingly so that any amount of social security we may collect will be gravy and left for our kids and future grand kids. Anyone our age or younger needs to plan to be self sufficient without counting on government assistance in our retirement years. We also have an autistic son that we need to provide with financial security and backup so that he is never dependent on the whims and vagaries of government bureaucracies.

Also using federal agencies to harass his political adversaries... He has weaponised the IRS and other agencies illegally.
That close vote wasn't as close as you would think. Over 100 workers didn't vote either way...
There is also the problem of formerly erradicated diseases being brought to this country from Africa and from south of the border.
Sorry should read: we should not pass anything
With the way Obama has behaved with regard to both immigration and Obamacare we should pass anything because no matter how the statute is written there is no way for anyone to know how Obama would "interpret" the law. If he can arbitrarily move statutory dates that are clear and exact to whenever he pleases from one day to the next, how then could we know that he won't arbitrarily move immigration dates and other details???
Did you not get the irony of the NAACP holding a protest over voter ID laws and requiring all attendees to carry valid photo IDs???
